Go browsing only.
Public computers are not available.
Curbside pickup is available.

be picked up curbside.
Book donations not accepted at this time.
Returned materials are no longer quarantined.

Blooming Book Roses: Virtual Tutorial

Learn how to create a bouquet of roses made out of book pages! Reference Librarian Jean will show
you how to use an upcycled library book to make this simple, yet beautiful craft. All materials
will be provided! This program premieres on the Library’s YouTube channel on March 11 and materials
will be available to pick up on the same day. Supplies are limited.

Rainbow of Feelings: Virtual Storytime and Craft
with Miss Kristyn
Monday, March 8 on YouTube
Join Miss Kristyn as she uses some books about
rainbows to help us understand our range of
emotions and feelings. This timely storytime will
deal with Social-Emotional Learning in a way that
is fun for kids! Storytime will be followed by a fun and creative
rainbow mosaic craft. Supplies for the craft will be limited
and available starting March 8. Recommended for ages 8 & up.
Green! Virtual Storytime and
Craft with Miss Theresa

Miss Theresa’s favorite color is green! Can
you think of all the things that are green? Go to
our YouTube channel to see Miss Theresa share some stories, a
flannel board, some finger-plays & a song or two…all based on this
fantastic color! Of course, she will also guide you in creating a cool
craft. Pick up craft supplies from the Library on March 15! Supplies
are limited & available on a first come, first served basis.

make your own fantastical unicorn. Pick up craft supplies from the
Library on March 22! Supplies are limited & available on a first
come, first served basis. Recommended for ages 3-6.
How Eggciting! Virtual Storytime
and Craft with Miss Theresa

It’s officially spring! This is a time when many
new babies are born…and some come out of
eggs. Join Miss Theresa as she shares some
stories, flannel board activities, some finger-play, songs, and of
course, a craft. Pick up craft supplies from the Library on March 29!
Supplies are limited & available on a first come, first served basis.
Recommended for ages 2 & up.
Library has Launched into Fine Free!
Beginning January 1 the Library has gone permanently
fine free!
No overdue fines on materials checked out at OBPL.
Existing overdue fines are waived.
All items 2 week check-outs,
5 auto-renewals if no holds.
Account is blocked if an item is 14
days overdue until returned (21 days
during COVID quarantine).
Items overdue for 42 days are
considered lost and billed at cost.
Digital Magazines have Moved!
RBdigital Magazines has joined Overdrive and
the Libby app! Content from the RBdigital
platform can now be found on the Libby app and
the RBdigital app will stop working at the end of March. All our
digital magazines, as well as all eBooks and eAudiobooks, are
available to anyone with a valid Oak Brook library card.

free paper shredding event in the Library’s North lot on
Saturday, March 27 from 10 am to noon.
Friends’ Pop-up Book Sale

The Friends will have a few tables of books for sale in the
lobby. Grab a few good books and support the Friends!
