Subject: Mid-America Pool Change Order
I spoke to Rick, he agrees this doesn't need to go back to the Board.The Board approved the original change order and
directed staff(Rick and 1)to negotiate with Mid-America to reduce their labor by 50%.
Below is a copy of the email that was sent to Mid-America which explains the reduction the Board had requested.This
also shows the revised total, $50,950.00 for the discounted change order.

Hi Austin,
The price that the Trustee had mentioned was online pricing for Legacy Starter Platforms$2500.00 each, I found the
RockSolid mounts online for$500.00.The price for each Platform and mount would be $3,000, for a total cost
of $24,000 for the 8 Platforms.That would put the installation at$24,000.00 the Board asked that we split the
installation at 50%/50%.This splits equals 1/3 off of the price, ($12,000.00).The total cost for the 8 Platforms installed
would be $36,000.00. Tax and shipping is unknown.
If the pricing for the purchase and installation of the Ladders is approximately the same, 1/3 off the price that would be
($7,475.00).The total cost for the 8 Ladders installed would be $14,950.00,for this price I subtracted 1/3 of your price,
so I assume tax and shipping was included in this pricing.
As I mentioned to David, my staff has been working with Thomas on this project from day one and we will continue to
help until the project is completed, this includes the installation of the Starting Platforms and the Ladders.
Please let me know if you are agreeable to this pricing, $50,950.00 for both, the 8 Platforms and 8 Ladders installed. If
this pricing is not acceptable, please give me your best pricing for only the 8 Ladders with installation.
