Artist Workshop: Embossed Aluminum Design
Thursday, November 4 @ 6 pm
Terri Murphy will teach attendees how to emboss designs on
aluminum sheets and give it an antique finish. The pattern will
then be extended to the border with colored pencils.

The Library has partnered with the Illinois Philharmonic Orchestra
to offer our patrons passes to the 2021-2022 season. Each pass is
good for up to 2 tickets and must be presented at the box office
window. There is a limit of one pass per person, per season. Pick
up your pass at the Circulation Desk today!

Storytime & Craft
Virtual Program with Language Labs

Ages 3 & up
Please join charismatic Alejandra
Osorio with The Language Labs to
learn, celebrate and honor this special
holiday of Día de Los Muertos - Day of
The Dead. The multi-day holiday
involves family & friends gathering to
pray for and to remember loved ones
who have died. In Mexico, and many other
cultures, this holiday is portrayed as a day of
celebration rather than mourning. There will
also be a vibrant and colorful Day of The
Dead craft available to pick up the same day
the program airs on the Library’s YouTube channel on a
first come, first served basis.

with Miss Theresa

Join Miss Theresa as she gets everyone
ready for mitten weather. She will share
some stories, a rhyme or two and a very
cool craft! A Take & Make craft will

Yummy, Yummy Pie Virtual Storytime & Craft
with Miss Jess

Ages 3 & up
Miss Jess will be talking about
pie. Who doesn’t love apple pie,
pumpkin pie, blueberry pie and
cherry pie? There are so many
choices! She will read some stories, share a flannel board
activity & present a craft. A Take & Make craft will be
available to pick up the day the program airs on the
Library's YouTube channel on a first come, first served
basis.

Trick-or-Treat Trail in October. We had over 525
people visit our booth and take photos with our
creepy skeleton
librarian.
