Abraham Lincoln on Slavery, Emancipation and
Equality
Thursday, February 10 @ 6 pm
Join Kevin Wood, a professional Lincoln presenter, as he shares
his ever-evolving perspectives on the subjects of slavery,
emancipation and equality, including the relationship between the
white and black races during his times.
Winter Reading Program
Adventures in Reading - through March 5
Brrr! It’s cold outside! What better time is
there to read? Our Winter Reading Programs
for all ages are in full swing. Reading logs are
available to print online or pick up in the
Library, so everyone can get started!
Complete the program to receive a finishing
prize and be entered into a drawing for a grand prize. We hope to
see everyone in Oak Brook reading!

Celebrate one of Illinois’ most
famous residents: Abe Lincoln!
Miss Brigitte will read a few books
about Honest Abe’s life and then
do a craft all about his childhood
home. A Take & Make craft will
