Village of Oak Brook Hosts Taste of Oak Brook
Oak Brook, Illinois (June 26,2009,3:00 P11) —The Village of Oak Brook will once again host the 2nd
Annual Taste of Oak Brook sponsored by McDonald's followed by the Independence Day Fireworks
display on July 3rd, from 4:00 — 9:00 pm and will feature some of the finest restaurants serving selectable
cuisine for the everyone's gourmet palette. Participating restaurants include; Adobo Grill, Baja Fresh,
Ditka's, Foxes Sports Bar & Grill, Kona Grill, LaBriola Bakery Caf6, Maggiano's Little Italy,
McDonald's Corporation, The Capital Grille and Tuscany. Hams Bank will sponsor the beverage truck
and Sysco Food Services is also a proud sponsor of the Taste event. A children's tent featuring balloon
artists and face painters will be open from 4:00 pm — 8:00 pm.
In addition, JACK FM will be broadcasting live from the Taste of Oak Brook with free give -a -ways and
fantastic music.
Several ticket booths will be available to purchase tickets which can be exchanged for food, beverage or
children's activities. There will be a $5.00 per vehicle parking fee for this event
"Oak Brook has become known for its outstanding restaurants and we are excited to have them
participating in this year's event. We encourage everyone to come early and enjoy the food and musical
entertainment while visiting with friends and neighbors and to stay for the spectacular fireworks display. "
said Village President John W. Craig.
The Village is also thankful for any/all sponsorships or donations received to help defray the expenses of
this spectacular community event.
The Taste of Oak Brook event will be held on the Village of Oak Brook Polo Grounds off of 31" Street
between Spring and York Roads. Rain date for the fireworks display only is July 4"i. For additional

Founded in 1958, the Village of Oak Brook is located 20 miles west of downtown Chicago and is in
