OAK BROOK TO COMMEMORATE 10 -YEAR ANNIVERSARY OF
ATTACKS ON SEPTEMBER 11TH
Oak Brook Illinois (September 11 2011, 3:00 P1Vn —The Village of Oak Brook will commemorate the
10 -year anniversary of the attacks on September 1 t h by hosting a remembrance ceremony on Sunday,
September I I'hfrom 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Oak Brook Public Library, 600 Oak Brook Road. The
ceremony will honor America and those that lost their lives on September 11, 2001. Reverend Richard
Glyman from Christ Church Oak Brook will deliver the Invocation and guest speakers include:
Representative Chris Nybo, Senator Ron Sandack, Village President Gopal Lahnalani and Oak Brook Fire
Chief Tom McEllin.

Founded in 1958, the Village of Oak Brook is located 20 miles west of downtown Chicago and is in
proximity to the junction of Interstates 88, 294, and 290. The Village consists mostly of residential
