Sunday is Oak Brook Polo Family Day!
Oak Brook, Illinois – July 26, 2013 – After an exciting opening last Friday to the Oak Brook Polo
Season, this Sunday, July 28, promises to be one of the biggest and most exciting days of the Oak
Brook polo season. The theme is Oak Brook Family Day, where there will not only be 2 great polo
matches, but fun things for the whole family to do to.
This first match starts at 1:00 p.m. on the historic Oak Brook Polo Club grounds. “Family Day will be
great fun for polo fans and their families” said Gopal Lalmalani, Village President. “In addition to
great polo, we will have face painters and balloon artists. Also, Tesla and Porsche will each have a
few cars on display.” Tickets for face painters will be $2 and balloon artists are $1.
A portion of the General Admission and VIP tickets will benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities
(RMHC) of Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana.
In 2013, there will be a total of four (4) more dates following Sunday’s match. The additional
matches will take place on the following dates with the following thrilling themes:
• Sunday, August 18th (1:00 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. matches)–Classic Car Day
• Sunday, August 25th (1:00 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. matches)– TBA
• Sunday, September 15th (1:00 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. matches)–UK Day
• Sunday, September 22nd (1:00 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. matches)–Argentina Day
Do you want to experience polo and watch the exciting “Game of Kings,” at one of the finest polo
clubs in America? This is the field where players from around the world have traveled to compete
in prestigious polo tournaments – even Prince Charles played in Oak Brook in 1986!
