Join artist Terri Murphy from Young-At-Heart Artists Workshop
and create a beautiful Seedpod Collage. This is an assembled
design of fall plants made from a variety of papers including

Margaux in this early literacy storytime.
One caregiver to one child is encouraged

Afterschool Storytime with Miss Theresa
Wednesdays, Sept. 7, 14, 21, & 28 @ 4:30 pm
Children ages 4 - 7 attend this program independently.
They will wiggle and giggle while they interact with books,
songs and a craft. Ages 4 - 7
Toddling 2s & 3s Storytime with Miss Theresa
Thursdays, Sept. 8, 15, 22 & 29 @ 10:30 am
This is a perfect program to introduce little ones to the
library. We'll enjoy some good books, sing songs, dance,
do fingerplays, and more! We'll also make a craft related
to the theme of the day. A caregiver must stay with each
child during the program. Ages 2 - 3
Sign Language Storytime
Tuesdays, September 6, 13, & 20 @ 10:30 am
Join the Language Labs in celebrating International Day
of Sign Languages with a unique storytime.
An ASL (American Sign Language) Interpreter
will sign as a story is read. Some simple
vocabulary will be shared and the children will
enjoy a craft that follows the story’s theme.
Ages 2 & up.

Join Miss Brigitte’s craft club! Every week we will do a
new craft based on an artist or fall theme! There is a strict
age requirement as some crafts require advanced fine
motor skills. Ages 8 - 12
Saturday Morning Chess Club

This club is open to players who already have an
understanding of the game. Ages 6 & up. Sponsored by

Adventure Tales Writing Workshop
Saturday, September 10 @ 1 pm
Adventure Tales is a short story writing
series where kids explore writing and
illustration skills with their parents. These
group sessions are led by experienced
short story writers and will teach the
basics of how to write and illustrate your
own short story. Ages 7-11 (with adult). Space is very

Animals Around the World
Saturday, September 17 @ 1 pm
See bats and other cool creatures from
around the world as Sharon Peterson
takes us continent by continent for an
educational show and tell. This exciting
show will allow patrons to handle some
of the animals and take photos. All

Teen Volunteer Program
The Library offers volunteer opportunities to students
entering 8th - 12th grade. Volunteer duties include
assisting library staff with material handling and sorting,
helping librarians with in-person children’s programming
and other special projects.
