Homicide Investigation in Oak Brook
Oak Brook, IL - On 06/07/2023 at approximately 12:05am, the Oak Brook Police
Department received a 911 call of a shooting with an unconfirmed number of shots being
fired into a vehicle near 22nd Street and Camden Court. Oak Brook Police and Fire
personnel arrived on scene and located a male who had sustained multiple gunshot
wounds. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
This appears to be an isolated occurrence. The Oak Brook Police Department would like
to stress that the offender in this incident poses no threat to the public.
All roadways in the area are currently open. Investigators are currently following up on
several leads.
This case is under investigation at this time and no other information is currently
available. Anyone who may have seen something suspicious or has information is urged
