Snow Better Time to Read!
Saturday, January 6 – Saturday, February 24
This winter, the Youth Services Department invites all
readers, birth – 12th grade, to participate in our Winter
Reading Program Snow Better Time to Read! Readers
will complete reading logs based on their age/grade level.
Anyone who completes a reading
log will win a bag of prizes and will
be entered into a grand prize
drawing for a chance to win one of
our exciting grand prizes!
Completing more logs means more
chances to win a grand prize! We
hope to have all of Oak Brook
reading this winter!

Toddling 2s & 3s Storytime with Miss Theresa
Tuesdays, February 6 & 20 @ 10:30 - 11 am
This is the perfect program to introduce little
ones to the library. We'll enjoy some good
books, sing songs, dance, do fingerplays &
more! We'll also make a craft related to the
theme of the day. A caregiver must stay with
each child during the program. Ages 2-3

This club is open to players who already have an
understanding of the game. It is a club, not a team, so
players are welcome to join us to improve their game.

Explore art with Miss Brigitte! Each week
we will create something based on an
artist, a book, a winter theme, or
suggestions from the class. There is a
strict age requirement for this program as
crafts require advanced fine motor skills.

Adventures in Writing:
Safety Adventure Tales
Saturday, February 3 @ 12:30 - 2:30pm
Adventure Tales is a short story writing
series where kids explore writing and
illustration skills with their parents. These
group sessions are led by experienced
short story writers and will teach the
basics of how to write and illustrate your
own short story. Ages 7-11 (with adult)
Graphic Novel Book Club with
Miss Dominique

Whether you love graphic novels, or have
never picked one up before, all are
welcome here! Join Miss Dominique's
Graphic Novel Book Club for great graphic
