Adult Craft: Book Binding for Beginners

There are many ways to create a book. Join us as we learn two different ways to create
our own mini notebooks. This is a great way to upcycle unused paper into scrap books,
notebooks or journals. The sky's the limit!
Yoga for Beginners

Beacon Book Club - The Book of Charlie

Charlie White is 109 years old. He was born before radio and witnessed the world
overtaken by smartphones. To say that he’s seen a lot is an understatement. His life is this
month’s book club pick, and will offer insight into living and thriving through change.

This is the perfect program to introduce little
ones to the library. We'll enjoy some good
books, sing songs, dance, do fingerplays &
more! We'll also make a craft related to the
theme of the day. A caregiver must stay with

Building Better Tales

Adventure Tales is a short story writing
series where kids explore writing and
illustration skills with their parents. These group sessions are
led by experienced short story writers and will teach the
basics of how to write and illustrate your own short story.

National Library Week Bookmark Contest!
March 1 – April 1
We’re celebrating National Library Week (April 7-13) with
a bookmark designed by you! Create a “Books Make
Good Friends” bookmark. Your bookmark should follow
the theme of books & friendship! Three to five winners will
receive a gift card to Michaels Crafts store as well as 24
laminated bookmarks of their design. The Library will also
have the winning bookmarks available for patrons during
National Library Week! Pick up entry forms at the Library
& turn in your design to the Youth Desk through the first of
April. The winners will be announced at the beginning of
National Library Week!
Youth Pickup Craft
