Golf Café –Entertainment, Menu Overview
AVM Mitchell showed a copy of the Golf Café menu and stated that they are open for business
with adjusted hours. Fig Boz wanted to flex their hours to match the hours that the course was
open, but they were told that they needed to stay open until 8:00pm and open later in the
morning. SCD Segura said that a notification is going out to everyone in the GolfNow database,
which is around 40,000 to 50,000 people, advertising the Golf Café.

AVM Mitchell gave a brief overview of British Swim School, their lesson model, and fees and
shared that the owner, Angelica Monroy, is an Oak Brook resident. The committee spoke of the
challenge of non-member participation and the need to not allow those families access to the
pool after their lessons.
AVM Mitchell continued his presentation with a list of some of the event ideas that will be
offered twice a month during the season, including Holiday in July, Taco Tuesday, Olympics
themes, bean bag tournaments, ping pong, and others. The committee spoke of the desire to keep
members at the facility later and that they would need to stay outside of the pool area because
there is no lighting in the pool. These events will be run by the pool managers with the assistance
of Chicagoland Pool Management. The logistics of moving the fencing at the check-in area and
the possibility of handing out wristbands or other ways of marking members was discussed.
