She will begin with a story in Urdu followed by an introduction to learning the language. The Hinsdale Humane Society’s READ program bring us teams of trained owners and their Pet Partners – registered dogs to work with children to improve reading skills. This is an opportunity for children to practice their reading skills with the best nonjudgmental listener of all! (Please note that we encourage parents & siblings to leave the room while the child is reading to the dog.)
