Oak Brook’s Legacy Lives On: An Afternoon
with Reute Butler
Sunday, October 6 @ 2 pm
Join us for a captivating afternoon with Reute Butler, granddaughter of
Oak Brook’s visionary founder, Paul Butler. This event will feature a presentation by Reute Butler,
followed by a Q&A session. Ms. Butler will be available to sign copies of the memoir, with all proceeds
benefiting Friends of Conservation, an organization deeply connected to the Butler family's values.
I’m Turning 65...Now What?

The Medicare Ladies will be presenting changes to Medicare in 2025 including how and when to sign up,
as well as the basics of Medicare A, B, C and D, and Open Enrollment Options.
Terri Murphy - Delicious Desserts

Join local artist and instructor Terri Murphy as we take a look at the food art of oil
painter Wayne Thiebaud and render a sweet treat in oil pastels.

There is a $5 admission fee until 11 am on Thursday, free for Friends members. Only cash and

Evergreen Concert

The Neverly Brothers will rock the library with their guided musical tour of the birth,
near death, and resurrection of rock ‘n’ roll - from 1955 to 1965. Their energetic
stage show consists of show-stopping renditions of early hits by Jerry Lee Lewis,
Chuck Berry, Buddy Holly, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, and more!

dances, and more! We will make a craft related to the

Join Dr. Ghazala Siddiqui as she shares her love of the
Urdu language! She will begin with a story in Urdu and
follow up with an introduction to learning the language.

with the whole family! A parent or
