Become a teen volunteer! The Library offers volunteer opportunities to students entering 8 through 12 grades.Volunteer duties include assisting library staff with patron hold requests, sorting andshelving materials, and helping librarians with in-person children’s programming like storytimes and other special projects.

Applications are available online and in the library. Each applicant must complete anapplication and a short alphabetization quiz to participate. Volunteers receive aconfirmation letter of their hours at the end of the session for any extracurricular servicehour obligations.
