MEETING OF THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK

1. CALL TO ORDER
The Regular Meeting of the Village Board of Trustees was called to order by President Laurence E. Herman
in the Samuel E. Dean Boardroom of the Butler Government Center at 7:01 p.m. The Pledge of Allegiance
was recited.
2. ROLL CALL

IN ATTENDANCE: Village Manager Greg Summers, Information Technology Director Tom Gilbert,
Police Chief Brian Strockis, Public Works Director Tim O'Malley, Head Librarian Jacob Post, Finance
Director Marilyn Fumero, Fire Chief Kevin Fleege, Development Services Director Rebecca Von Drasek,

3. PRESIDENT’S OPENING COMMENTS
President Herman extended warm wishes to everyone celebrating Eid Mubarak, as well as the upcoming
celebration of Passover, and Easter. He announced the opening of the Oak Brook Golf Course and that all
individuals living in the corporate boundaries are eligible to apply for a Resident Membership at the Oak
Brook Golf Course. President Herman encouraged those interested to visit the Village of Oak Brook
website for additional information. President Herman announced that non-resident memberships for the
Bath and Tennis have reached capacity. However, several spots remain open for residents to purchase
memberships. President Herman introduced former Village Trustee Baar to make a presentation which
would move Spring Road and relocate the Fuller House.
A. Presentation by John Baar – Relocation of Fuller House to the Graue Mill Campus
Resident and former Trustee Baar introduced himself and Don Fuller, president of the Hinsdale
Fullersburg Historic Foundation.
Mr. Fuller shared a historical overview of the Foundation and its purpose.
Mr. Baar presented the proposal to relocate Spring Road and move the Fuller House.
