Want to help your community? Feel passionate about the Library? Need job experience? Become a teen volunteer! The Library offers volunteer opportunities to students entering 8 through 12 grades. Volunteer duties include assisting library staff with patron hold requests, sorting and shelving materials, and helping librarians with in-person children’s programming like story times and other special projects. th th Applications are available online and in the library. Each applicant must complete an application and a short alphabetization quiz to participate. Volunteers receive a confirmation letter of their hours at the end of the session for any extracurricular service hour obligations. Speak to a helpful librarian about volunteering today!
