MINUTES OF THE JUNE 2, 2014 SPECIAL MEETING OF THE
PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES AND THE
VILLAGE MANAGER SEARCH COMMITTEE OF THE
VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK APPROVED AS WRITTEN ON
JUNE 10, 2014
1. CALL TO ORDER
The Special Meeting of June 2, 2014 of the Village Board of Trustees and the Village
Manager Search Committee was called to order by President Gopal Lalmalani in the
Upper Level Conference Room of the Butler Government Center at 6:01 pm.
2. ROLL CALL
Village Clerk Charlotte Pruss called the roll with the following persons:
PRESENT: Trustee John Baar, Trustee Michael Manzo, Trustee Mark Moy, Trustee
Gerald Wolin, Trustee Asif Yusuf, President Gopal Lalmalani
ABSENT: Trustee Don Adler
IN ATTENDANCE:
3. ADJOURN TO CLOSED MEETING – APPOINTMENTS PURSUANT TO SECTION
2c(1) AND 2c(3) OF THE ILLINOIS OPEN MEETINGS ACT, RESPECTIVELY
Motion by Trustee Manzo, seconded by Trustee Baar, to adjourn to closed meeting at 6:01
p.m.
ROLL CALL VOTE:
Ayes: 5 – Trustees Baar, Manzo, Moy, Wolin, Yusuf
Nays: 0 – None
Abstain: 0 – None
Absent: 1 – Trustee Adler
Motion carried.
Trustee Adler arrived during the closed meeting at approximately 7:06 p.m.
Trustee Yusuf exited during the closed meeting at approximately 7:53 p.m.
4. RECONVENE – The closed meeting was adjourned and reconvened to open meeting at
10:24 p.m.
5. ADJOURNMENT
Motion by Trustee Wolin, seconded by Trustee Baar, to adjourn the Special Meeting of
the Board of Trustees at 10:24 pm. VOICE VOTE: Motion carried.
