R E S O L U T I O N
16IlEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Oak Brook
take note of, and are deeply saddened by•the sudden and untimely passing of
ERWIN BAKNSEX on February 5, 1980; and
WHEREAS, ERWIN BAI NSEsN, during his long association with the Village of
Oak Brook which started in 1959 and continued until his death, consistently
devoted energy and time above and beyond the call or duty to his community; and
WHEMEAS, ERWIN BAHNSEN served as a member of the Oak Prook Plan Oornaission
from 1959 to 1968; was one of the founders and serve4 as President of the Oak
Brook Library Association. from 1962 until May 25, 1971 at which time the Oak
Brook Free Public Library was created. ERWIN );KAREN was then appointed (hair .
man of this commission on May 25, 1971 and has sere'..? in that capac% , ' to date.
WHEREAS, ERWIN BAIRSEd will be sorely missed by all of hid frig; and •
neighbors and the official family of the•Village of Oak Brook.

EEY extend their sincerest and deepest sympathy to the family of ERWIN
BARMEN an the occasion of his untimely death, and .

The Regular Meeting of the Board of Trustees was called ot order at 7:30 Y. I. by
President Cerne in the Samuel E. Dean Board Roan of the Village Commons.

President Cerne reed in its entirety a proposed resolution ameending
Erwin lehneen, wbef until his untimely death imas served the Village as
a emater of the Plan Commissiom free 1950 to 1968, was a fouler and
President of the Library Associative from 1962 to 1971 and had served
as Chairmen.of the Oak brook Pres Public Library from 1971 to date.

That a plaque be dedicated in the Oak Brook Free Public Library
commemorating Erwin Bahama for his service to the Village of
Oak Brook and approve Resolution No. R-266 as presented.

B. Dennis G. Dine, Inc. - Final Plat - Friar Tudk Subdivision
On January 21, 1900, the Plan Oommissios considered the three (3) lot -
Final Plat of Friar Tuck Subdivision, located at 3400 York Read, and
recommended denial until drainage solutions are found for this parcel
and the area in general.
