RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE VILLAGE MANAGER TO SERVE ON
THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE INTERGOVERNMENTAL PERSONNEL
BENEFIT COOPERATIVE AS THE REPRESENTATIVE OF THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK

WHEREAS, the Village of Oak Brook has elected to participate in the
Intergovernmental Personnel Benefit Cooperative (IPBC) by the approval of
Ordinance No. S- 502 passed and approved February 22, 1983; and
WHEREAS, Article V. (a) of the Contract and By-Laws of the IPBC allows for
the Village of Oak Brook to appoint a representative to the Cooperative's Board
of Directors; and
WHEREAS, the position of Village Manager is a staff position of the
Village of Oak Brook.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK, DU PAGE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS, as
follows:
Tne Village Manager is hereby appointed the representative to the Board of
Directors of the Intergovernmental Personnel Benefit Cooperative from the Village
of Oak Brook. The position of Finance Director is hereby appointed as alternate
representative to serve when the Village Manager is unable to perform his duties.
