RECOMDATIONs That the President and Board of Trustees $pprove
the attached resolution in the amount of$691300.00,
which will allow us to make expenditur*s n 1983
from the Motor Fuel Tax Fund for Salt and,Energy
Costs, and to convey the resolution, Once approved, .
to the Department of Transportation, State: of •li
Illinois. •
The afore-mentioned resolution is necessary in order to keep our
records current with the State of Illinois, Motor Fuel' Tax Division.
For fiscal year 1983 we have budgeted the following from the Motor
•Fuel Tax Funds
Malts • $28,000
Energy s $35,000
For purposes of the State Resollutlon, I have increased tha'budgeted
caut
figures by 10%, as a precaution'. . IR the event that we do not spend
the amount authorized, the State will make an adjustment when their

The Village Board at their meeting of Tuesday, May 24, 1983 considered the Resolution
For Maintenance Of Streets and Highways By Municipality Under the Illinois Highway
Code, along with the Municipal Estimate of Maintenance Costs, both documents „meting
the period of January 1, 1983 through December 31, 1984.
After careful consideration the Village Board passed Resolution *-347 - A Resolution
• For Maintenance of Streets and Highways Under the Illinois Highway Code. Attached
herewith are two (2) certified copies of Resolution R-347 for your record. The
Village Board also directed the Village President to execute the Mscicipal Estimate
Of Maintenance Costs for Salt and Energy for fiscal year 1983/84. Enclosed herewith
are four (4) executed copies of this document for your record.
I would appreciate your coordinating this matter with Floyd Wilson, our Supt. of
Public Works.
