A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF REAL PROPERTY
11308 OAK BROOK ROAD OAK BROOK ILLINOIS)
WHEREAS, the Village President and Beard of Trustees demo it advisable and
necessary in the Elie interest that the Village Of Oak Brook, DuPege and Cook
Counties, Illinois acquire certain real property located at 1308 Oak Brook Wad,
Oak Brook, Illinois; and
WHEREAS, such property will serve the public and corporate purposes for
which the Village is organized; and
WHEREAS, the Village President and Beard Of Trustees have directed the
Village Attorney tO cause the preparation of a contract for the purchase of said
property at a price of $285,000 for consideration and approval by said President
and Board Of Trustees; and
WHEREAS, the sellers of the subject property have tendered a contract in
form and substance acceptable to the Village as approved by its Village Attorney;
NOiI, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK, DU PAGE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS.es fol1Ow :
Section 1: That it is hereby determined that it is advisable and necessary .
in the public interest that the Village of Oak Brook purchase for public purposes
the property described in.Exhibit A hereto Ideated at 1308 Oak Brook Read, Oak
Brook, Illinois pursuant tO a Purchase Agreement therefor dated November 18, 1983
providing fair the.purchase of said property at a total cast of $285,000•
