RESOLUTION NO. R-378
1985 PERMIT RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, The Village of Oak Brook, a Municipal Corporation, hereinafter
referred to as the "VILLAGE", located in the County of Cook and DuPage, State of
Illinois, desires to undertake, in the year 1985, the location, construction,
operation and maintenance of driveways and street returns, watermains, sanitary
and story sewers, street light, traffic signals, sidewalk, landscaping, etc., on
State highways, within said VILLAGE, which by law and/or agrelment come under the
jurisdiction and control of the Department of Transportation of the State of
Illinois hereinafter referred to as DEPARTMENT; and
WHEREAS, an individual working permit oust be obtained from the DEPARTMENT
prior to any of the aforesaid installations being constructed either by the VILLAGE
or by a private person or firm under contract and supervision of the VILLAGE.
NOW, TIEREFONE, BE IT RESOLVED BY TIE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE VILLAGE OF OAK WOK, WAGE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS as follows:
Section 1• That the VILLAGE hereby pledges its good faith and guarantees
that all work shall be performed in accordance with the conditions of the permit
to be granted by the DEPARTMENT, and to hold the State of Illinois harmless on
account of any damages that may occur to persons or property during the prosecution
of accidentss ors otherwise all liability which is persons
performed under the
to
the
provision of said permit.
Section 2: That all authorized officials of the VILLAGE are hereby
instructed and authorized to sign said working permit on behalf of the VILLAGE.
PASSED AND APPROVED this 8th day of , 1985 by the
President sad Board of Trustees of the Village of Oak Brook, DuPege and Cook
Counties, Illinois according to a roll call vote as follows:
