RESOLUTION NO. R- 405
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN
THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK AND THE ILLINOIS DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION
I/ FOR IMPROVEMENTS TO ILLINOIS RTE. 56/MEYERS ROAD
WHEREAS, the Village of Oak Brook is desirous of improving the traffic signals at
the intersection of ILL. Rte. 56/Meyers Road; and
WHEREAS, the Illinois Department of Transportation proposes to make said
improvements, identified as Traffic Signal Modernization, ILL. Rte. 56 (Butterfield
Road) & Meyers Road., F.A.U. RTE.3545, State Section (55 & 56)TS-85, Village Section
85-00015-00-TL, pursuant to the Agreement with the Village of Oak Brook, a copy of
which is attached hereto as Exhibit 1 ; and
WHEREAS, the corporate authorities deem execution of the attached Agreement in the
best interest of the Village of Oak Brook;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK, DU PAGE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS as follows:
Section 1: That the provisions of the preamble hereinabove set forth are
hereby adopted as though fully set forth herein.
Section 2: That the Village President and Village Clerk are hereby authorized
and directed to execute the Agreement with the Illinois Department of Transportation
for improvements to the intersection of ILL. Rte. 56/Meyers Road. Said Agreement
shall conform substantially to the form of Agreement attached hereto as Exhibit 1.
Section 3: This Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after
its passage and approval as provided by law.
PASSED and APPROVED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of
Oak Brook this 14th day of January , 1986 pursuant to a roll
call vote as follows:
Ayes: Trustees Bushy, Maher, Philip, Rush and Winters
Nays: None
