RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, ARTHUR W.PHILIP has faithfully and with dedication
served the Village of Oak Brook in his capacity as an appointed member of the
Plan Commission from May, 1974 to May,-19i5-.and as an elected Trustee from
May, 1975 to May 1987; and
,IHEREAS, the said ARTHUR W.PHIP:Ilas also served the,community
in many other ways, including terms as President of the Graue Mill Association
during 1982-1984 and as President of'the Oak ook"Oivic Association during 1972-1974;
and
WHEREAS,during the performance of said service;.ARTHUR W.
PHILIP has given unselfishly of his time, efffort•and expertise, contributing thereby
to the progress and well-being of the said Village and its citizens; and
WHEREAS,the President and Board of Trustees are of the opinion
that a record of such faithful service should be made and spread upon the records
of said Village;
Ni W, THEIREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the`;President and Board.;
of Trustees of the Village Of Pak Brook,that the said ARTHUR L PHILIP be and
he hereby is commended for his faithful service to the Village of Oak Brook and
the citizens thereof
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the President and Board of Trustees
of the Village of 0*Brook, for.and on behalf of said.Village and its citizens, do
' hereby extend their appreciation and gratitude to the said ARTHUR W PHILIP.
for his many civic services as aforedescrlbed.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution be delivered
to the said ARTHUR W. PHILIP by the Clerk of the Village of Oak Brook and that
this resolution be spread upon the records of,said Village.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the President and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Oak Brook, DuPage and Cook Counties, Illinois, this 12th day of
