RE: Amendments to Pay Plan for 1988
RECOMMENDATION: To amend the Village Pay Plan to reclassify, change or
add the following positions:
1. Reclassify Public Works Superintendent from Grade 11 to Grade 12.
2. Reclassify Finance Officer from Grade 10 to Grade 11.
3. Change Golf Pro Manager to Golf Pro and reclassify from Grade 9 to ''
Grade 3. 1
4. Change Bath & Tennis Club Director to Clubhouse Manager and reclassify
from Grade 7 to Grade 5.
5. Change Chef from part-time to full-time in Grade 4.
S. Change Sports Core Secretary from part-time to full-time in Grade 2.
7. Change Sports Core Houseman/Custodial Maintenance Man from part-time
to full-time in Grade 1.
8. Create the position of Golf Manager/Greens Superintendent in Grade 9.
9. Change full-time Assistant Bath & Tennis Club Director to part-time Assistant
Clubhouse Manager.
The Sports Core Manager and I have made the above-mentioned recommendations
to more efficiently and effectively deal with the Sports Core areas. We respectfully Ij
request approval of said changes.
The recommended reclassifications for the Public Work Superintendent and Finance
Officer are made to more accurately place them in a pay grade similar to other !I
Region IV positions. I respectfully request approval of said changes.
