AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING A. SALARY
FOR THE VILLAGE CLERK OF THE VILLAGE
OF OA.KBROOK, DU PAGE COUNTY, ILLINOIS
BE IT ORDAINED by the President and the Board of Trustees of
the Village of Oakbrook, DuPage County, Illinois :
Section 1. That there is hereby established for the Village
Clerk of the Village of Oakbrook a salary equal to Fifteen and
No/100ths Dollars ($15.00) for each regular Village Board meeting
or Special Village Board. meeting attended by such Village Clerk
provided that such Village Clerk shall receive compensation for
not more than one meeting during each calendar week.
Section 2. The Village Clerk shall be allowed two absences
in. each year for which compensation may be paid at the rate set forth
in this ordinance.
Section 3. This ordinance shall become effective when the
Village Clerk elected at the regular municipal election to be held.
on the 16th day of April, 1963, shall enter upon the duties of the
office.
