AN ORDINANCE CHANGING THE NAME OF A CERTAIN
STREET OR PUBLIC WAY LOCATED .WITHIN THEk'"""'
VILLAGE .OF OAK BROOK, DU PAGE COUNTY, ILLINOIS
WHEREAS, there is within the corporate limits of the Village of Oak
Brook, DuPage County, Illinois,a certain street or public way heretofore
known and designated as 31st Street; and
WHEREAS, the statutes of the State of Illinois vest in the corporate
authorities of the Village of Oak Brook the authority and power to change
the names of the streets within said village; and
WHEREAS, it is the opinion of the President and Board of Trustees of
the Village of Oak Brook that the name of said 31st Street should be changed
to Oak Brook Road.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Oak Brook:
Section 1: That the name of the street or public way heretofore known
and designated as 31st Street located within the corporate limits of the
Village of Oak Brook be and the same is hereby changed and shall from,
henceforth and now on be known and designated as Oak Brook Road.
Section 2: That all official maps of the Village of Oak Brook shall be
changed in accordance with provisions of this ordinance.
Section 3: That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage and approval as by statute in such cases made and
provided.
Passed and approved by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village
of Oak Brook, this 8th day of October, 1963.
