Y 'f 970 AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION TO THE RULES AND REGULATIONS OF THE OAK BROOK ZONING ORDINANCE Whereas , the owner of the property more particularly herein- after described has petitioned the corporate authorities of the Village of Oak Brook for a variation to the rules and regulations of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Oak Brook with respect to structure height in a B-4 Hotel - Office District ; and Whereas , a public hearing pursuant to said request has been held by the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Oak Brook; and Whereas , the said Zoning Board of Appeals has recommended that the variation be granted ; and, Whereas , the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Oak Brook concur with said recommendation and are of the opinion that a variation should be granted.; , NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Oak Brook, DuPage County , Illinois : Section 1. That the applicable rules and. regulations of "The Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Oak Brook, Illinois , of 196611 , as amended , contained in Section VIII , F-7 , and Section XIV, B (133) , pertaining to structure height in a B-4 Hotel - Office District are hereby varied to permit a 100 room addition of six (6) stories to extend five (5) feet in height above the existing hotel building so as to allow proposed. addition to conform with the existing hotel building; sAi T addition to be located substant- ially as shown on applicant ' s tea. plan dated. March 10, 1970 , which is attached. hereto and marked Exhibit "A" and made , by reference , a part hereof. The property effected hereby is described as : Part of the Northeast quarter of Section 25 , Township 39 North, Range 11 , East of the Third Principal Meridian, described as follows : Beginning at the Northwest corner of the Northeast quarter of said. Section 25 , also being the intersection of center lines of York Road and. Twenty Second. Street (Cermak Road) ; thence South 0 degrees 00 minutes 00 seconds East along the West line of the North- east quarter of said Section 25 , also being the center line of York Road , a distance of 1448 .64 feet ; thence South 00 degrees 00 minutes 00 seconds East a distance of 198 .43 feet ; thence North 45 degrees 00 minutes 00 seconds East , a distance of 80 .00 feet ; thence South 45 degrees 00 minutes 00 seconds East , a distance of 22 .80 feet ; thence North 60 degrees 30 minutes 00 seconds East , a distance of 540.00 feet ; thence North 0 degrees 00 minutes 00 seconds East , a distance of 1145.58 feet to a point on the North line of the Northeast quarter of said Section 25 , also being the center line of Twenty-Second. The variation granted herein will expire and be null and void if construction of the addition proposed herein is not completed within eighteen (18) months of the adoption of this ordinance. Section 3 . That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval as by statute in such cases made and provided.
