AN ORDINANCE REPEALING
AN ORDINANCE CALLING FOR
A REFERENDUM ON THE
27TH DAY OF- MARCH, 1971
Whereas, it is deemed advisable that more time be afforded
the residents of the Village of Oak Brook to acquaint themselves
with the advisability of acquiring the Oak Brook Utility Company;
and
Whereas, April 20, 1971, is the date for the regular village
election;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Oak Brook, DuPage County, Illinois ,
that:
Section 1. Ordinance No. entitled "AN ORDI-
NANCE PROVIDING FOR THE SUBMISSION TO THE VOTERS OF THE VILLAGE
OF OAK BROOK, DU PAGE COUNTY, ILLINOIS, THE QUESTION OF ISSUING
$2 ,000,000 WATERWORKS SYSTEM BONDS AT A SPECIAL ELECTION TO BE HELD y
IN AND FOR SAID VILLAGE ON SATURDAY, THE 27TH DAY OF MARCH, 1971" ,
be and the same is hereby repealed.
Section 2. This ordinance shall become effective immediately
upon its passage and approval. QL
