ORDINANCE NO. .5- 27P
ORDINANCE OF ELECTION CANVASS
Whereas, upon notice duly published, as by statute in
such cases made and provided, the regular election for the Village
of Oak Brook was held on the 17th day of April, 1973; and
Whereas, there were to be elected at such election
one (1) Village Clerk for the unexpired term of the present Clerk
for a period of two years and three (3) Village Trustees , all for
a four year term, and;
Whereas , the President and Board of Trustees of the Village
of Oak Brook have canvassed the results of said election;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board
of Trustees of the Village of Oak Brook, DuPage County, Illinois :
Section 1. That it is hereby found and determined that
the following named persons received the following number of votes
for the office of Village Clerk:
Mariane Lakosil 465 votes
Audrey L. Muschler 314 votes
Section 2 . That it is hereby found and determined that
the following named persons received the following number of votes
for the office of Village Trustees :
Frederick W. Brown 544 votes
Edward Kelly O'Brian 293 votes
George Congreve 440 votes
Eldon K. Gl^ves 408 votes
David F. Swain, Jr. 471 votes
Ed New 1 vote
Section 3. That it is hereby found and determined that
the following named person, having received the highest number of
votes for the office of Village Clerk of the Village of Oak Brook
has been elected as such Village Clerk, to serve the unexpired
term of two years:
Mariane Lakosil
Section 4. That it is hereby found and determined that
the following named persons , having received the highest number of
votes for the office of Village Trustee of the Village of Oak Brook
have been elected as such Village Trustees, to-wit:
Frederick W. Brown
David F. Swain, Jr.
George Congreve
Section 5. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval as by statute in such case
made and provided.
