AN ORDINANCE REZONING PROPER'T'Y TO
CONSERVATION/RECREATION DISTRICT
(1425 Kensington Road)
WHEREAS, an application has been filed by the Oak Brook Park District
requesting the rezoning of property located at 1425 Kensington Road from R-4
to C/R; and
WHEREAS, the .Plan Commission on September 17, 1390 and the Zon#g Board'
of Appeals on October 2, 1990 recommended approval of the requested rezoning;
and
WHEREAS, the Village President and Board of Trustees have .reviewed the
recommendations of the Plan Commission and Zoning Board of Appeals and deem
the rezoning of the property to C/R, Conservation/Recreation District to be
consistent with the Comprehensive Plan and is in the most appropriate zoning
of the property consistent with its highest and best use, and
WHEREAS, all required hearings were held pursuant to due and appropriate
legal notice;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK, DU PAGE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS as follows:
Section 1: That the provisions of the preamble .hereinabove set forth are
hereby adopted as though fully set forth herein.
Section 2: That property :Located at 1425 Kensington Road be and is
hereby .rezoned from R-4, Single-Family Detached Residence District to C/R,
Conservation/Recreation District. Said property is legally described as
follows:
Lot 2 of McDonald`s Autumn Oaks Subdivision recorded as Document No.
R90-77300 on June 22, 1390, being a subdivision of part of Section 26,
Township 39 North, Range 11 East of the Third Principal Meridian in
DuPage County, Illinois. Permanent Index No. 06-26-102-007.
Section 3; That the Village Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to
amend the Official Zoning Map of the Village consistent with the provisions of
this Ordinance.

Section 4: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after passage and approval as provided by law.
