TO THE VILLAGE OF OAKBROOK,
DU PAGE COUNTY, ILLINOIS
WHEREAS, there has been duly filed with the Clerk of the
Village of Oakbrook, Du Page County, illinoisy a petition, under oath,
asking that the following described terr__tory be annexed to t-e Village
of Oakbrooks
That part of the southwest quarter of Section 25, the south-
east quarter of Section 26, the north half of Section 35 ;3nd
the northwest quarter of Section 360 Township 39 North, Range 11,
Fast of the Third Principal Meridian, described as follows:
Connencing at the center of Section 35, for a place of be-
ginning; thence northerly along the westerly line of the
northeast quarter of Section 35, to the south line of the
northwest quarter of the southwest quarter of the northeast
quarter of Section 35; thence easterly along said south line,
a distance of 611.31 ; thence northerly and parallel with the
east line of the west half of the southwest quarter of the
northeast quarter of Section 35, a distance of 100.01 ; thence
westerly and parallel with the south line of the northwest
quarter of the southwest quarter of the northeast quarter of
Section 359 a distance of 403.75' ; thence northerly and parallel
with the west line of the northeast quarter of Section 35, to a
point on the north line of the south half of the northwest quarter
of the southwest quarter of the northeast quarter of Section 35;
thence southerly along said east line, a distance of 67,371 ; thence
easterly and parallel with the south line of the northeast quarter
at Section 35, to a point on the centerline of Adams Street, as
platted and recorded; thence northerly along said center
line, to its intersection with the center line of Spring Road,
as now platted and recorded; thence S. 53050' E. along said
center line of Spring Road, a distance of 371.91 ; thence con-
tinuing along said centerline S. 61046' E., a distance of
290.51 ; thence continuing along said center line, S. 51054'

Section 2: That a certified copy of this ordinance, together
with an accurate map of the described territory, shall be filed by the
Clerk of the Village of Oakbrook with the Recorder of Du Page County,,
Illinois.

the Village of Oakbrook, Du Page County, Illinois, this day of

all of the real estate described therein, and all of the electors resid-
ing on said territory; and
WORM, the said territory is contiguous to the Village of
Oakbrook and is not' dthin the corporate limits of any municipality; and
WHERUS, the Statutes of the State of Illinois 'provide that
upon the filing of such petition the. corporate authorities of the Village
of Oakbrook may pass an ordinance annexing said territory to said village
if said ordinance is passed by a two-thirds vote of said corporate
authorities;
