oRDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN TERRITORY SK. 130#

DU PAGE COUNTY, ILLINOIS
WHEREAS, there has been duly filed with the Clerk of the Village
of Oakbrook, Du Wage County, Illinois, a petition, under oath, askirg that
the following described territory be annexed to the Village of Oakbrook:
That part of the southeast quarter of Section 24 and the East
Half of Section 25, Township 39 North, flange 11, East of the
Third Principal Meridian described as follows$ Commencing at
the center of said Section 24; thence easterly along the north
line of the southeast quarter of Section 24, to the northeast
corner of York 'Woodlands Subdivision, situated in the southeast
qguarter of Section 24, Township 39 North,. Range 11, East of the
`third Principal Meridian, for a place of beginning; thence con-
tinuing easterly along said north lane to the northeast corner
of said southeast quarter cf Section Z; thence southerly along
the east line of the southeast quarter of Section 24, and the
east line of Section 25, to the northeast corner of Oakbrook
Estates Subdivision, situated in the southeast quarter of
Section 25, Township 39 North, Range 11, East of the Third
Principal Meridian; thence westerly a'Long the north line of .
said Oakbrook Estates Subdivision to the eaat Une of the
west half of the east half of Section 25; thence northerly
along the east line of the west half of the east half of said
Section 25, to a point 345«5' north of the south line of the
northeast quarter of Section 25,, said point also being the
northeast corner of property, now or formerly owned by Willard
R. Carlson; thence westerly along the north line of said
property, now or formerly owned by Willard R. Carlson, to the
west line of the northeast quarter of .Section 25; thence, nor-
therly along said went line of the northeast quarter of Section 25,
to the southwest corner of York Woodlands 'Subdivision; thence
easterly along the south line of York Woodlands Subdivision, to
the southeast corner of said subdivision; thence northerly along
the easterly line of said York Woodlands Subdivision, to the plane
of beginning; all in Du Wage County, Illinois;
and
WHEREAS, said petition is signed by the owners of record of
all of the real estate described therein, and all of the electors residing
on said territory; and
WHEREAS, the said territory is contiguous to the Village of
Oakbrook and is not within the corporate limits of any munibipality; and
'WHEREAS, the Statutes of the State oi° Illinois provide that upon
the filing of such petition the corporate authorities of the Village of
Oakbrook may pass an ordi.nanoe amazing said territory to said grillage if
said ordinance is passed by 4 two-thirds vote of said corporate author ties;

with an accurate map of the described territory, shall be filed by the
Village of Oakbrook with the Recorder of Du Page County, Illinois.
