WHF,REAS, there has been duly filed with the Clerk of the Village
of Oakbrook,, Da page County# Illinois$ a petition,, under oath, asking that
the fallowing described territory be annexed to the Village of Oakbrook$
The northeast quarter of Section 26$ Township 39 North j Range 11$
East of the Third principal Meridians and that part of the east
half of Section 23, Township 39 North, Range 119 East of the
Third Principal Meridian, described as followas Oommencing at
the center of said Section 23, for a place of beginning; thence
southerly along the west line of the southeast quarter of
Section 23 to the southwest corner of said quarter section;
thence easterly along the section line$ to the southeast corner
cf Section 23; thence northerly along the east line of said
quarter Section 239 to a point on the centerline of Harger
Road, as now platted and recorded; thence westerly along the
centerline of Harger Road* as now platted and recorded, a
distance of 632.9' to a break in the centerline; thence con-
tinuing along said centerline, in a southwesterly directions
a distance of 179.820; thence S.0017' east a distance of 551.12';
thence S. 69043' west a distance of 1$97.281; thence N. 0017' west,
to a point on the centerline of Salt Creek, said point also being
the southeasterly comer of Lot 100 in Timber Trails Estates
Annex; situated in the east half of section 23, Township 39
north, Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian; thence
westerly along a meandering line, said line also being the
southwesterly line of said Timber Trails Estates Annex$ to
a point where said line intersects the west line of the north
east quarter of Section 23; thence southerly along the west line
of said northeast quarter of Section 238 to the place of beginnings
all in Du Page County, Illinois]
and
WHEREAS, said petition is signed by the owners of record of all
of the real estate described therein# and all of the electors residing
on said territory; and
WHEREAS,, the said territory is contiguous to the Village of
Oakbrook and is not within the corporate limits of any municipality; and
WHEREASe the Statutes of the State of Illinois provide that upon
the filing of such petition the corporate authorities of the Village of
Oakbrook may pass an ordinance annexing said territory to said village
if said ordinance is passed by a two-thirds vote of said corporate
authorities;
9HEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Oakbrook# Du Page County,, Illinois#

same is hereby annexed to the Village of Oakbrook, Du Page County,
Illinois, to-wits

thence S. 890431 wrest a distance of 497.28+; thence N. 00171 west,
to a point on the centerline of Salt Creeks said point also being
the southeasterly corner of Lot 10, in Timber Trails Estates
Annex; situated in the east half of Section 23, Township 39
north, Range ll# Fast of the Third Principal Meridian; thence
westerly along a meandering line, said line also being the
southwesterly line of said Timber Trails Estates Annex, to
a point where said line intersects the west line of the north
east quarter of Section 23; thence southerly along the west line
of said northeast quarter of Section 23$ to the place of beginning,
all in Du Page County# Illinois.
Section 2: That a certified copy of this ordi nence, together
with an accurate map of the described territory, shall be filed by the
Village of Oakbrook with the Recorder of Du Page County, Illinois.
