WHEREAS, the owners of the followeing described real estate have filed
with the Village of Oakbrook a petition for the rezoning of the following
described real estate from "R-1, Single Family Residence District" to "R-1/2,
Single Family Residence District;" and
WHEREAS, the said petition has been considered by the Plan Commission
of the Village of Oakbrook and the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of
Oakbrook; and
WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals has conducted a public hearing
on said petition; and
�,,,... WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals has recommended to the Board
of Trustees that said petition for rezoning be granted; and
WHEREAS, it appears to the Board of Trustees that all the require-
ments of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Oakbrook and the Illinois

Revised Statutes to such matters pertaining have been complied with in all
respects;
NOW, 2=4 BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Oakbrook, 11-.cis:

where said described line intersects the southerly right-of-way
line of the Northern Illinois Toll Highway (East-West Route);
thence westerly along said southerly Right-of-Way line (as held
in tithe by the Northern Illinois Toll Highway) East-West Route,
to the place of beginning, all in Du Page County, Illinois,
be and the same is hereby reclassified and rezoned from "R-1, Single Family
Residence District" to "Ra 1/2, Single Family Residence District" and that
the said property shall henceforth be included within the "R-]j,,, Single Family

Section 2: That the official zoning map of the Village of Oakbrook
be changed to comply with this ordinance.
Section 3: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
L with this ordinance be and the same are hereby repealed.
