S-29 - 06/13/1961 - ZONING - Ordinances x 1 J AN ORDINANCE A )INS, THE ZONING ORDINANCE U'r' VILLA,E C?F OAK ?ROOK, ILLIN01S WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the ViUa7e of Oakbrook has recommended a change in the definition of "Curb Level" in said zoning ordinance; and r WERE , the Zoning Board of Appeals, after due notice, has conducted a public hearing relative to said change and recommended that said change be made; 2nd '* WEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the said Village i of Oakbrook do concur in said recommendation; NOW) THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Oakbrook, Du Page County, Tll nois: Section 1: That the paragraph defining "Curb Level," being a portion of Section III, Rules and Definitions, of the Oakbrook Zoning Ordinance, passed and approved by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Oakbrook, Illinois, on the 17th day of November, 1959, be and the same is hereby amended, and as amended, shall read as follows: "CURB LEVKLwy-for determining; maximum bpi ght of buildings. The level on the established street pavement curb, or where no curb exists, the level or: the center 14 re of the street pavement, in either c=ase, at a point perpendicular with the center 1- ne of the wall of the building opposite the front lot line, except when the depth of a front yard exceeds 401, the maximum build-inz hei:?ht shall be measured from the mean level of the established finished ground grade elevations at the exterior walls of the nuildl,ng, but in no event shall any part of a builcing be ;i firer t-:=-i 40' from the adjoining finished ground grade elevation." Section 2: That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication as by statute in such cares made and provided.
