DU PACE COUNTY ILLINOIS _.
WHEREAS, there has been duly filed with the Clerk of the
Village of Oakbrook, DuPage County, I ?-linois, a petition, under
oath, asking that the following described territory be annexed
to the Village of Oakbrook; and
WHEREAS, said petition is signed by the owners of record
of all of the real estate described therein, together with all of
the electors residing within said territory; and
WHEREAS, the said territory is contiguous to the Village
of Oakbrook and is not within the corporate limits of any other
municipality; and
WHEREAS, the statutes of the State of Illinois provide
that upon the filing of such petition the corporate authorities
of the Village of Oakbrook may pass an ordinance annexing said
territory to the Village if said ordinance is passed by two-thirds
vote of the corporate authorities ;
THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Oakbrook, DuPage .County , Illinois :
Section 1 : That the following described territory be
and the same is hereby annexed to the Village of Oakbrook, DuPage
County, Illinois , to-wit :
That part of the East half of the Southwest quarter of
Section 22, Township 39 North, Range 11 , East of the
Third Principal Meridian, described as follows : Be-
ginning at a point on the west line of the East half
of the Southwest quarter of Section 22 aforesaid,
1424.28 feet north of the Southwest corner of said
East half of said Southwest quarter ; running thence
North on division line 442.86 feet to center of
Butterfield Road (before being widened) ; thence North
61 degrees East along the center of Butterfield Road
(before being widened) 235. 32 feet for a place of
beginning; thence South - parallel with division amine
507. 13 feet ; thence North 77 degrees East 179. 38 feet
(to a point 382.80 feet %ast of Division line) : Thence
North 561. 2 feet to .center of Butterfield Road (before
being widened) ; thence South 6 - degrees West , along the
center of Butterfield Road 198. 38 feet to the place of
l - beginning. Also tt�at ;part of the East half of the
Southwest quarter o section 22 , Township 39 North,
Range 11 , - ast of the Third ;rincipal :Meridian, described
as follows : Begin-iing at a point on the West line of the
East half of the Southwest quarter of Section 22 aforesaid ,
1424. 28 feat North of the Southwest corner of said East
half of said Southwest quarter, running thence North on
Division line 442.86 feet to the center of Butterfield
Road (before being widened) : Thence North 61 degrees
East along the center of Butterfield Road (before being
widened) 235.82 feet for a place of beginning; thence
South parallel with division line (West line of East half
of Southwest quarter of said Section 22) , to the South
line of Butterfield Road (as widened) ; thence South 40
feet parallel with said division line to a point :o Thence
Northwesterly on a line that forms an angle of 17 07 '
(measured North toward West) with last described line,
a distance of 35.91 feet to the Southerly line of Butterfield
Road (as widened) : Thence north on a line parallel to the
division line, to the center of Butterfield Road (before
being widened) , thence North 61 degrees East 12 feet to
Cf 1 the place of beginning, in DuPage County , Illinois. Also
that part of the East half of the Southwest quarter of
Section 22, Township 39 North, Range 11 , Fast of the
Third Principal Meridian, described by beginning at the
Southwest corner of said East half of said quarter; thence
running North on division line, 21. 58 chains to the South
line of Arthur Robinson' s Cheese Factory Lot (formerly
so-called) ; thence. North 77 degrees East 5.97 chains more
or less along the Soutr lire of said lot to a point 5.80
chains East of said division line ; thence South parallel.
with division line 22.72 chains more or less to section
line ; thence West on Section line, 5.80 chains to the
place of beginning, in DuPage County. Also that part of
the West half of Midwest Road and the West half of Midwest
Road as extended across. 22nd Street lying North of the
Southerly line of the Southwest quarter of Section 22,
Township 39 North, Range 11 , East of the Third Principal
Meridian, and South of a Line being the North line of
Lot 2, as extended Easterly across the West half of Midwest
Road in Dr. Fay' s u'ivision of Lots 22 and 23, a subdivision
situated in the Southwest quarter of Section 22, Township 39
North, Range 11 , East of the Third Principal Meridian, all
in DuPage County, Illinois .
Section 2 : That a certified copy of this ordinance , together
with an accurate map of the described territory, shall be filed by
the Village Clerk of the Village of Oakbrook with the Recorder of
Deeds of DuPage County, Illinois.
