RESOLUTION
11M11i.JIS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Oakbrook.,
Du Page County, Illinois., deem it advisable to provide for additional regulations
regulating the construction of residential, commercial, industrial and all other
types of buildings; and
WHEREAS, in the adoption of additional building code regulations all
or certain portions of the following publications will be adopted by reference,
to-wit: National Electrical Code, 1959 Edition, copyrighted by the National
Fire Protection .Association, and Illinois State Plumbing Code, adopted as an
Advisory Code of Minimum Standards of Good Plumbing Practice July 1, 1959, by
the Illinois Department of Public Health, Division of Sanitary Engineering,
both of which said publications have been previously published in pamphlet form;
and
WHEREAS, the Statutes of the State of Illinois provide that in such
cases the said publications may be adopted by reference, provided at least
three copies have been on file at the office of the Village Clerk at least
thirty (30) days prior to their adoption by reference:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Oakbrook, Du Page County, Illinois, that three copies of the
aforesaid National Electrical Code and the aforesaid Illinois State Plumbing
Code be placed on file at the office of the Village Clerk in the general office
building of the Oakbrook Division of the Butler Company., Oakbrook, Illinois., to
remain on file for thirty (30) days so that the same may be adopted in total or
in part by reference by the said President and Board of Trustees.
Passed and approved by the President and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Oakbrook, Du Page County, Illinois, this 11th day of October., A. D.
