WHEREiS, WALTER C. IMRIE, has faithfully and with dedication and distinction
served the Village of oak Brook in his capacity as a member of the Board of
Trustees from X. y, 1980 through April, 1989; and
WHEREAS, the said WALTER C. IMIR, has also faithfully and with dedication
and distinction served the Village of Oafs Brook in his capacity as a member of
the Zoning Board of Appeals from October, 1979 to May, 1980; and
WHEREAS, the said WALTER C. INNIE, has also faithfully and With dedication
and distinction served the Village of Oak Brook in his capacity as a member of
the Board of Fire and Police Commissioners from September, 1974 to November,
1979; and
j WHERAAS, the said WALTER C. IMRIE, has also served the community in many
�f other sways including as a member of the Oak Brook Comity Caucus and as a
i member of the DuPage County Solid haste Committee; and
(((( VHHRRRAS, during the unselfish and dedicated rendering of said service,
WALTER C. DMIE has given unselfishly of his time, effort and expertise,
contributing materially thereby to the progress and smell-being of the said
Village and its citizens; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Traatees are of the opinion that a
record of such .faithful service should be made and spread upon the records of
said Village;
Row, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Oak Brook that the said WALTER C. IHRIR be and he hereby is commended
for his faithful service to the Village of Oak Brook and the citizens thereof.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the President and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Oak Brook, for and on behalf of said Village and its citizen, do
hereby extend their appreciation and gratitude to the said WALTER C. INNIS for
his many civic services as aforedescribed.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a duly certified copy of this Resolution be
delivered to the said WALTER C. DMI& and that this Resolution be spread upon the
official permanent records of said Village.
ADOPTED AND APPROVED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village
of Oak Brook, DuPage and Cook Counties, Illinois, this 9th day of May, 1989.
