RESOLUTION No. R- 492
A RESOLOTIENI APPOINNTING AN ALTERNATE
FOR THE INIZAGOVERNMENTAL RISK MANAGR%9 AGENCY
BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of
Oak Brook, DuPage and Cook Counties, Illinois, that Stephen Barley is the
representative of the Village of Oak Brook to the Board of Directors of the
Intergovernmental Risk Management Agency (IRMA) and that Vincent L. Long be and
is hereby appointed as the alternate representative to said agency, pursuant to
Section V(a) of the IRMA by-laws.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Village Clerk is hereby authorized to
transmit a certified copy of this Resolution to the Intergovernmental Risk
Management Agency, 1 South 450 Summit Avenue, Suite 325. Oakbrook Terrace,
Illinois 60181.
PASSED AND APPROVED this 13th day of March . 1990 by the
President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Oak Brook, DuPage and Cook
Counties, Illinois according to a roll call vote as follows:

SUBJECT: IRMA Alternate
We have reviewed your memorandum of March 1, 1990 concerning the above and agree
that Vince Long, as the Village's Safety Coordinator, should serve as the alternate
to IRMA. Vince works closely with IRMA on a day-.to-day basis and also serves on
IRMA's Loss Control Committee.
Pursuant to your approval of this recommendation, we will notify IRMA and make the
change as soon as possible.

SUBJECT: Resolution Appointing Alternate to the IRMA Board of Directors
All members of the Intergovernmental Risk Management Agency (IRMA) are to
designate a representative and an alternate to the IRMA Board. I am the '!
Village's representative to IRMA and Terry Klein is the alternate. Vince Long is l
the Village's Safety Coordinator and also serves on IRMA's Loss Control j
Committee, which makes it appropriate that he serve as our alternate.
I, therefore, recommend that the Village President and Board of Trustees appoint
Vince Long as the Alternate Representative to the IRMA Board.

I. MEETING CALL.
The Regular Meeting of the Board of Trustees was called to order by President
Cerne in the Samuel E. Dean Board Room of the Village Commons at 7:33 P.m.

B. RELEASE OF EXECUTIVE SESSION MINUTES:
In conformance with the Open Meetings Act, President Cerne announced
the release of portions of Executive Session minutes from July to
December, 1989.
II. APPROVAL OF MINUTES:
Trustee Maher moved, seconded by Trustee Winters...
That the Minutes of the Regular Meeting of February 27, 1990 be approved
as presented and waive the full reading thereof.
VOICE VOTE: 411 present, in favor with Trustee Bushy abstaining. So ordered.

HIGHWAYS BY MUNICIPALITY UNDER THE ILLINOIS HIGHWAY CODE 1990 Motor
Fuel Tax MFT) Resolution):
Proposed resolution is required by the State of Illinois to
appropriate Motor Fuel Tax Funds for Deicer Salt, construction of
Deicer Salt Dome, Energy costs for traffic signals and street lighting
and street improvements under the applicable provisions of the
Illinois Highway Code from January 1, 1990 to December 31, 1990.
