WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Oak Brook on August 20,
1990 recommended the approval of the final plat of the proposed Mizen's
Subdivision; and
WHEREAS, the Village President and Board of Trustees have considered the
recommendation of the Plan commission and concur with same, subject to certain
conditions;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED By THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK, DU PAGE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS as follows:
Section 1: That the Final Plat of- Subdivision known as Mizen's
Subdivision prepared by The Balsamo Olson Group, Inc. as last revised August
23, 1990 be and is hereby approved subject to the conditions enumerated in
Section 2 of this Resolution.
Section 2: That the approval of the Final Plat of Mizen's Subdivision as
given in Section 1 hereof be and is hereby expressly subject to the following
conditions:
A. Covenants be prepared for each lot indicating the particular improvements
which would be required at building permit time including the provision
of sanitary and water service lines, stormwater detention and driveways
as depicted on the approved preliminary engineering prepared by James A.
Fey and dated October 4, 1990.
B. waiver of any requirement to install curbs, gutters or street lights as a
part of the subdivision.
Section 3: That all of the requirements, conditions and standards of the
Subdivision Regulations of the Village of Oak Brook except as waived or
limited by this Resolution shall be applicable to the subdivision and
development of said Mizen's Subdivision.

C. ORDINANCE NO. G-451 AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING A TAX ON HOTEL OPERATORS
WITHIN THE PILLAGE OF OAK BROOK:
D. ORDINANCE NO. G-452 AN ORDINANCE CREATING.A HOTEL CONVENTION AND
VISITORS COMMITTEE:
The Hyatt-Oak Brook has requested the Village of Oak Brook to establish
a hotel/motel tax as authorized by State statutes to provide funds to
promote Oak Brook hotels in their competitive battles with similar
facilities in surrounding coemnities.
The first ordinance drafted reflects the imposition of a 1% hotel/motel
tax effective October 1, 1990. The second ordinance creates a Hotel,
Convention and Visitors Committee which mould be the entity responsibl4r j
for making appropriate recommendations to the Village Board for the
expenditure of the hotel/motel tax receipts. That committee would be
comprised of five persons, at least two of whoa would be operators or
managers of a hotel within the corporate limits of the Village.
