AN ORDINANCE CHANGING THE NAME OF A CERTA*
STREET OR PUBLIC WAX LOCATED WITHIN THA
VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK, Dv PAGE COUFTY, ILLINOIS
WHEREAS, there is located within the corporate limits of the Village of
Oak Brook, DuPage County, Illinois, a certain street or public way heretofore
known and designated as Summit Avenue; and
WHEREAS, there has been filed with the President and Board of Trustees
of the village of Oak Brook a petition purportedly executed by 100% of the
residents within the Village of Oak Brook res;,ding on.said street or public
way requesting the name of said Summit Avenue be changed to Midwest Road;
and
WHEREAS, it is the opinion of the President and Board of Trustees of �
the village of Oak Brook that the name of said street or public way should
be changed.
Now, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Oak Brook:
Section 1: That the name of the street or public way heretofore known
and designated as Summit Avenue located within the corporate limits of the
Village of Oak Brook be and the same is hereby changed and shall from,
henceforth and now on be known and designated as Midwest Road.
Section 2: That all official maps of the Village of Oak Brook shall be
changed in accordance with provisions of this ordinance.
section 3: That this ordinance shall be in full farce and effect from
and after its passage and approval as by statute in such cases made and
provided.
