AN ORDINANrF AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINPNCE
OF THE VILLAGE OF OAK BROOK, DU PAGE ChJUNTY,
ILLINOIS, BY RECLASSIFYING CERTAIN PROPERTY
WITHIN SAID VILLAGE
WHEREAS, the owners of the property more particularly hereinafter
described have petitioned the corporate authorities of the Village of Oak
Brook to rezone said property from R-2 Single Family Residence District to
B-,jj General Business District; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing pursuant to said request has been hold by
the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Oak Brook after receiving
the recommendation of the Planning Commission of said village; and
WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Oak Brook have
recommended that said petition be denied; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the village of Oak Brook
do not concur with said recommendation, but are of the opinion that said
petition should be granted and that said property should be rezoned
accordingly.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Oak Brook:
Section 1: That the following described property, to-wits
That part of the South East,,quarter of section Thirty-six (36) ,
Township Thirty-Nine (39) ,"'Range 11, East of the Third Principal
Meridian, described by beginning in the South line of said
section two hundred eighty and five tenths (280.0 reet, Fast of
the South quarter corner thereof (said point of beginning bo. nq
in the center of Brush Hill (now York Road)) ; thence North twunty-
eight and one-fourth (28 1/4) degrees West along the center of
iaid road, two hundred twenty-five and sixty-eight hundredth*
(225.68) feet to a point two hundred (200.J) foot North, measured
at right angles thereto, from the south line of said section;
thence Cant parallel with the section line, four hundred eighty-

Section 2: That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage and approval as by staetate in such cases made and
provided.
Section 3: That the official zoning map of the Village of Oak Brook
be changed to comply with the provisions of this ordinance.
Passed and approved by the President and board of'Trustees of the
