BE IT 04DAINED by the President and the Board of Trustees
of the Villa,;e of Oakbrook, County of DuPage, State of Illinois,
that an ordinance regulating the sale of alcoholic liquor within the
Jillagle of Oakbrook, DuPage County, Illinolai passed and approved
the 17th day of June, 1958, by the Presidbnt and Board of Trustees
of said VIlla,-e as from time to time amended, be and the same hereby
Is further amended as follows:
Section 1. That Section 16 of said ordinance, as amended,
be and the same is hereby further amended, and as amended by this
ordinance shall read as follows:
"Section 16 Closing - Hours of Business - Election
aaLs• It shall be lawful to keep ope—nr-o—r—W-siness-
to admit the public to any premises In or on which
alcoholic liquor is sold at retail except during the
hours as hereinafter specified each day of the week,
Sundays Included, provided, however, no person shall
sell at retail any alcoholic liquor on the day of any
national, state, county or municipal election, Including
primary elections, during the hours the polls are open
within the political area in which such election Is
being held. No person shall sell at retail any alcoholic
liquor between the hours of 1:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. on
weekdays and between the hours of 2:00 a.m. and 1200 noon
on Sundays provided that on January 1 of each year the
hours durIn3 which no alcoholic liquor shall be sold at
retail shall be between 4:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. unless
such January I shall fall on a Sunday, In which evoat
such hours shall be from 4:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon,
Section 2. That this amending ordinance shall be In full
