AN iRDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE SALE
OF CERTAIN PERSONAL PROPERTY BY THE
VILLAGE OF OAKBROOK, DU PAGE COUNTY,
ILLINOIS
WHEREAS, the President and the Board of Trustees of the
Village of Oakbrook, DuPage County, Illinois, are of the opinion
that a certain 1961 Chevrolet 4-door Station Wagon, bearing
serial number 112355266641, Is no longer necessary or useful to
the Village of Oakbrook, and that the continued ownership is not
for the best interests of the Village; and
WHEREAS', the said !"resident and the Board of Trustees of the
Vilia-e of Jakbrook, are of the opinion that the aforedescribed
motor vehicle should be sold;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and the Board
of Trustees of the Village of Oakbrook, DuPage County, Illinois:
That the President be And he is hereby authorized and directed
to sell at the best obtainable price, without advertising for bids,
the 1961 Chevrolet 4-door Station Wagon, bearing serial number
11235S266641, presently owned by said Village, and upon ascertaining
the best available price the President and Clerk are hereby auLborized,
to execute the necessary documents to transfer title of ost4 motor
vehicle to the purchaser thereof, the consideration therefor to be
deposited in the general fund of said Village ,of Oakbrook.
