WHE'RLAS, t'Ciere has hoer filed with the Clerk of the
Village of Oakbrook, DuPoge County, Illinois, a petition under

of Oakbrook and is not within the corporate limits of any other
municipality; and
WHERLAS, the Statutes of the State of Illinois provide
that upon the filing of such petition the corporate authorities
of the: Village of Oakbrook may pass an ordinance annexing said
tr,=rritory to said village if said ordinance is passed by a two-
thirds vote of the corporate authorities;
