S-36 - 12/12/1961 - ZONING - Ordinances AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING
ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF OAKBROOK,
ILLINOIS , BY RECLASSIFYING CERTAIN
PROPERTY FROM "R-2 , SINGLE FAMILY
RESIDENCE DISTRICT" to "M, MANUFACTURING
DISTRICT"
WHEREAS, the owners of the following described real estate
have filed with the Village of Oakbrook a petition for the rezoning
of the following described real estate from 1IR-2 , Single Family
Residence District" to "M, Manufacturing District"; and
WHEREAS, the said petition has been considered by the Plan
Commission of the Village of Oakbrook and the Zoning Board of Appeals
of the Village of Oakbrook; and
WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals has conducted a public
r hearing on said petition; and
WHEREAS, it appears to the Board of Trustees that all the
requirements of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Oakbrook and
the Illinois Revised Statutes to such matters pertaining have been
complied with in all respects;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board
of Trustees of the Village of Oakbrook, Illinois :
Section 1: That the following described real estate , to-wit:
That part of the East half of the Southwest quarter of
Section 22 , Township 39 North, Range 11 , East of
the Third Principal Meridian, described by beginning at
a
the Southwest corner of the East half of quarter;
thence running North on division line 21. 58 chains to
the South line of Arthur Robinson' s Cheese Factory Lot
(formerly so-called) : Thence North 77 desgrees East 5. 97
chains more or less along the South line of said lot to
a point 5.80 chains East of said division line; thence
South parallel with division line 22 . 72 chains more or less
to Section line; thence West on Section line 5.80 chains
to the place of beginning, DuPage County, Illinois, being
located on the Northeast corner of 22nd Street and Midwest
Road .
be and the same is hereby reclassified and rezoned from "R-2 , Single
Family Residence District" to "M, Manufacturing District" and that
the said property shall henceforth be included within the "M, Manu-
facturing District . "

Section 2 : That the official zoning map of the Village of
Oakbrook be changed to comply with this ordinance.
Section 3 : That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict with this ordinance be and the same are hereby repealed .
