AN ORDINANCE AME17DING AN ORDINANCE REGULATING
THE SALE OF ALCOHOLIC LIQUOR WITHIN THE VILLAGE
OF OAKBROOK, DU PAGE COUNTY, ILLINOIS, PASSED
AND APPROVED THE 17TH DAY OF JUNE, A. D. 1968,
AS AMENDED
BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of
the Village of Oakbrook, County of DuPage, State of Illinois, that
"An Ordinance Regulating the Sale of Alcoholic Liquor Within the
Village of Oakbrook, DuPage County, Illinois", passed and approved
the 17th day of June, A. D. 1958, as amended , by the President and
Board of Trustees of said Village, be and the same is hereby further
amended as follows:
Section 1. That Section 16 of said ordinance be and the
same is hereby amended , and as amended , shall read as follows:
"Section 16.. Closing - Hours of Business - Election
DDaays : It shall Se lawful to keep open for business an
to-admit the public to any premises in or on which alcoholi
liquor is sold at retail during the hours as hereinafter
specified each day of the week, Sundays included ; provided
however, no person shall sell at retail any alcoholic
liquor on the day of any national , state, county or
municipal election, including primary elections, during
the hours the polls are open within the political area
in which such election is being held; and provided
further than no person shall sell at retail any alcoholic
liquor between the hours of 1:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. on
weekdays, and between the hours of 2 :00 a.m. and 12:00
noon on Sundays."
Section 2. That this amending ordinance shall be in full
force and effect from and after its passage, approval and publica-
tion as by statute in such cases made and provided .
Passed and approved by the President and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Oakbrook this 13th day of February, A. D. 1962 .
