AN ORDINANCE DING THE ZONING OiUDINA� CE
OIL THE VILLAGE OF OA-iQROOK, DU PAGE. COUNTY,
ILLINOIS, BY RECLASSIFYING CE?,TAIN PROPERTY
WITHIN SAID VILLAGE
WHIT Ii EAS, the owner of the property more particularly
hereinafter described has petitioned the corporate authorities of
the Village of Oakbrook to rezone said property from R-2 Single
Family Residence .District to -I Single Family Residence District;
and
WHEREAS, a public hearing pursuant to said request has
been held by the Zoning !Board of Appeals of the Village of Oakbrook
after receiving the recommendation of the Planning Commission of
said Village; and
WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of
Oakbrook has recommended that said petition be granted; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Oakbrook concur with said recommendation and are of
the opinion that said petition should be granted and that said
property should. be rezoned accordingly;
NOTy, THEREFORE, BE IT =AIMED by the President and
Board of Trustees of the Village of Oakbrook:
Section 1. That the following described property, to-
wit:
That portion of the Southwest ''uarter of Section 36,
Township 39 :torte, Range 11, East of the '!'hied
Principal 'Meridian, described by beginning on the
North and South division lire of said :southwest
"quarter, 13.24 chains (873.84 feet) worth of the
Southeast corner of the West alf of said Southwest
Quarter; thence West 478.83 feet ; thebce North 231.09
feet to the South line of Franzese' Subdivision;
thence rust on said South line, 972. 3 feet to the
center line of Spring Road; thence Southeasterly
on said center line, 193. 5 feet to the center line
of wias'ni.ngton Street; thence South on said center
line of Washington Street, 141.92 feet; thence viest
650. 93 feet to a point on said division line, 15. 1
feet north of the place of beginning; thence South
on said division line, 15. 1 feet, to the place of be-
ginning, in the Township of York, in DuPa e County,
Illinois ,
be and the sane is hereby reclassified and rezoned from R-2 Single

Family residence District to -1 Single Family ��esider:ce District.

and effect from and after its passage and approval as by statute
in such cases made: and provided.
Section 3. That the official zoning* mao of the Village
of Oakbrook be changed to comply with the provisions of this
ordinance.
